Jeff Kaiser Biography

Jeff was first introduced to the game of golf at age 5 by his father in his hometown of Onalaska, Wisconsin.  Jeff's early years were filled with weekend trips with dad to the golf course.  That is where his love of the game began.  As Jeff got into elementary and middle school, he began getting involved in the junior golf programs of the area as well as begining formal private golf instruction with his childhood and teenage golf instructor, PGA Professional and 2010 Wisconsin PGA Teacher of the year Tom Gees.  Jeff continued his journey in golf through high school with high school golf, Wisconsin State Golf Association and Wisconsin State PGA and Junior PGA golf, and national junior golf tours including the American Junior Golf Association (AJGA) and Future Collegiate World Tour (FCWT).  After a successful and extensive junior career, Jeff began his time at the University of Wisconsin-Madison and for the UW-Madison Men's Golf Team.  It was here that Jeff learned and played for Jim Schuman, men's head golf coach, 2003 and 2005 Wisconsin PGA Teacher of the year and now Director of Instruction for BlueMound Country Club.  A successful career in academics and on the golf course led Jeff to begin his career as a professional in 2008.  Jeff is a PGA Class A Member and has held positions in golf retail stores as well as Maple Bluff Country Club in Madison, Wisconsin as an Assistant Golf Professional/Teaching Professional.  Jeff was a finalist for the 2015, 2016, and 2019  WPGA Teacher of the Year award.  Currently, Jeff manages and operates the TaylorMade Player Development Center Madison, which features the GEARS Golf 3D system.
